It is not only the watchtower at Potsdamer Platz that commemorates the partition of Germany. It was listed as a site of historical importance in 2001 and renovation work began 10 years later. Today, the watchtower is the last remaining one of its kind. The tower was manned at all times by two border patrol soldiers working eight-hour watches in cramped conditions. 
The shooting range stretched from the Tiergarten to the Brandenburg Gate. The watchtower at Potsdamer Platz was erected in 1971. At the end of the GDR era, there were more than 200 of these watchtowers on the Berlin border.
The solid, type “BT 6” watchtower with rifle loopholes was built from 1966. It was used for monitoring the border strip as well as the ministries close by. The so-called “panoramic observation tower” was part of the border troops’ base and of the Ministry for State Security. To win, the players team must eliminate the entire enemy team or capture the central control point once.

Two iron ladders on the inside take you up the few metres to tree-top level and once you are there you can look out through the small windows just as the border soldiers used to. A concrete exterior, round at the base and octangular above.
This bug is fixed by version 2.0.1 of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch.One of the last relics from the GDR era can be found in a small side street on Potsdamer Platz – the type “BT 6” watchtower. The bandit leader (an unnamed Orc) does not respawn, which makes it impossible to complete radiant quests at this location if he has been killed previously. There is an orichalcum ore vein to the southeast. Behind the table is an unlocked chest, and to the left is a small table holding a random bow and arrows. On the table are a joint of raw beef, grilled leeks, a bottle of Nord mead, an enchanted Orcish warhammer, a copy of the Heavy Armor skill book Hallgerd's Tale, and a copy of The True Nature of Orcs. There is an Orc-styled shelter atop the watchtower with a long wooden table and two chairs. Ascend this and you will be confronted by an Orc bandit and the boss. There is a stone spiral staircase leading to the top level to your right. There is an open fire and cooking spit with a charred skeever cooking over it, which you can harvest for a charred skeever hide. WATCH TOWER CODE
Opposite you is a table holding a mead barrel, a leg of goat, two leather strips, two garlic bulbs, a rock warbler egg, two raw rabbit legs, and a copy of The Code of Malacath. You will find a pile of firewood to your left, with a tanning rack next to it. There is another Orc bandit on the ground floor of the tower. This is a two-story watchtower, with a wooden structure leading up to the door, and an Orc bandit standing in front.
